Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer best well-known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. The actress began her career as a stage performer in the 1950s beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the following years, she appeared in numerous Broadway productions until she made it big on the national theatre scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. In 1957, she debuted her own album called It's time for Tina. Louise began with her Hollywood career in 1958, as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a dramatic film. It was a huge success, and Louise won her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. During this time she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. In 1964, she was offered her next notable role when CBS hired her to play Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career successfully with a variety of roles between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters contrasted to her perception of glamour-doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she's been making a distinction as a producer of numerous popular television shows like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 29th of August in 1965 her family moved to Toronto at the age of three. She spent her childhood there before moving to Toronto for her adolescence. Following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997 and is a resident of Vancouver ever for the last ten years.
