Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also the owner of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it in addition. Annie is the only female ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She came in second place in the CrossFit Games of 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete and media celebrity. The first female to win at the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. In addition, she is famous for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was born in Iceland, Reykjavik with her siblings and parents. From a very young age, Annie was a huge sports enthusiast and was a fan of exercising. Many medals were awarded to her in school competitions. The first time she competed was in CrossFit in California in 2009. She did well in her initial games. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 years old (as of 2021). Her height stands at 5'7" and she weighs around 67kg. Annie began her CrossFit journey in California in the year 2009. She was able to perform well during the first few competitions. She finished amongst top 10 of over 70. However, she was unable to achieve any success in this tournament and she ended it with a ranking of eleven. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The same year, under Jami's guidance, she took home the silver medal at the CrossFit Games. In the following year she participated again in CrossFit competitions and due to her impressive performance, she took home the contest as the very first female to take home a trophy at CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie also won the CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and became the first woman who has won two CrossFit Games consecutively. Also, she received a trophy that was silver in 2014 and a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Presently, Annie coaches and trains for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie is a rising athlete who has appeared as the spokesperson for many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs and Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization as well as Sidekick Yerbae.
